1. Is urinary tract infection contagious?

Is urinary tract infection dangerous? If the disease is not treated properly, it can cause health effects such as:
- Causes kidney cells to become fibrotic and reduce kidney function.
- Damage to the urinary tract may not even restore function.
- Affects fertility in both men and women, even leading to the risk of infertility.
- Septicemia.
- Affects pregnancy if the patient is a pregnant woman.
- Affects sex life.
