PT Health Life – Proper exfoliation helps remove rough, dry skin, returning the skin to a smooth, youthful appearance. You don’t necessarily have to invest in expensive exfoliating products. Below are 4 simple exfoliation recipes that you can do right at home.
1. Exfoliate your whole body with coffee grounds
Exfoliating your skin with coffee grounds is very simple, helps remove dead skin gently, while adding moisture to the skin. First, you need to prepare the ingredients including 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of olive oil (or can be replaced with 3 vitamin E tablets).
Once fully prepared, put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well to form a thick mixture. Apply the mixture evenly on the skin and keep for about 10 minutes. You should combine gentle massage to increase the effectiveness of exfoliation. Finally, you shower again with warm water.
By exfoliating with coffee grounds 1 to 2 times a week, you will feel a clear positive change in your skin.
2. Exfoliate with a mixture of oatmeal and honey
Exfoliating with oatmeal helps remove dry , scaly, rough, dull skin… on the surface of the skin. Additionally, honey has moisturizing properties, keeping the skin from drying out and reducing irritation. Thanks to that, the skin becomes smooth, bright white from the inside and helps keep the skin healthy, preventing acne and sebum fibers.
Prepare ingredients including 2 tablespoons of honey, half a cup of brown sugar and 1 cup of oats. Mix the above ingredients well to form a thick mixture. Take a shower, then apply the mixture evenly all over your body and massage gently for 5 – 10 minutes.
Rinse with warm water and apply moisturizer all over your body. You should exfoliate your whole body 2-3 times a week. Exfoliating too often can cause erosion and reduce the skin’s ability to protect the skin.
3. Body scrub from pineapple and sugarcane
First, take the pineapple pieces and cut them into small pieces and put them in a blender. Then, add a few drops of pure coconut oil to the mixture. Add sugarcane juice to the bowl, mix well with a spoon and store in the refrigerator until used.
After bathing, apply the mixture all over your body and massage your skin. Spend extra time on your knees and elbows – the skin is often dark and has lots of dead cells. Finally, rinse your whole body with warm water.
4. Use a mixture of coconut oil, sugar and lemon juice
Sugar is one of the ingredients that effectively exfoliates and stimulates skin regeneration. When combined with coconut oil, this mixture has the effect of exfoliating dead cells to help clean the skin deeply, remove rough skin, and regenerate the skin from deep within. You can add a few drops of lemon juice to increase the antibacterial effect and clean the skin.
Prepare the 3 ingredients mentioned above and mix well in the ratio of 2 coconut oil, 3 lemon juice and 1 sugar. Apply the mixture evenly over the entire body, massage for about 5 – 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and dry your body with a soft, clean cotton towel. Finally, don’t forget to apply moisturizer all over your body to add necessary moisture to your skin.
